While this 1,100-acre island includes unique marshes, trails, and a pond, most head here for a day of complete isolation on the beautiful beach. The soft sand stretches 3,000 feet, offering plenty of space to relax away from other visitors.

There are also 22 campsites available in case you want to make it an overnight trip. If you want to camp on the secluded beach, make reservations ahead of time. The camping season runs from May 1 to September 30 annually.
