One of the most fun pastimes during summer in New Hampshire is heading to a nearby lake and taking a plunge. There are tons to choose from and many offer nearby activities as well. This lovely park often gets overlooked in favor of some of New Hampshire’s larger ones, but it’s no less fun. Plus, it offers access to one of the clearest lakes you’ll find in New England.

And, visitors can be sure that this lake is clean as can be thanks to the Kezar Lake Protective Association. The group was formed in the 1970s to clean and protect the lake after pollution and algae blooms began plaguing it in the 1930s.
