Have you chased any waterfalls this summer? North Carolina has some of the most beautiful waterfall hikes on the East Coast, and many of them are great for hikers of all skill levels. Wintergreen Falls Trail is a perfect example of a picturesque hike that comes with a perfect visual reward.
Wintergreen Falls Trail is located in Dupont State Recreational Forest, near Hendersonville.

To reach the trailhead, you’ll take I-40 to exit 46A toward Hendersonville, then take NC 280 South for 16 miles to US 64.
