Rhode Island may be a small state, but it’s filled with charming small towns with a lot of, history and culture. It’s simply one of the perks of being one of the oldest states in the union, and it’s something we don’t take for granted. But you’d be hard-pressed to find a small town more enchanting… and more decidedly New England… than Wickford Village.
Wickford is a tiny village situated in the town of North Kingstown.

Wickford was originally established in 1709 as a fishing village, although it spent some time as a trading post in the 1600s.
