If there’s one thing we can all agree on, it’s that the comeback of the drive-in movie theater across the country has been one of the most positive parts of the year. And if you can’t agree on that, it’s probably because you’ve never had a good old-fashioned night at the drive-ins. Should you decide to change that (and you really should), we highly recommend heading to Port Townsend and catching a double feature at the charming Wheel-In Motor Movie.
The Wheel-In has been around since 1953, making it one of the oldest drive-in theaters in the Pacific Northwest.

This single-screen gem was founded by the current owner’s grandparents, so it’s a small family business – and it’s run like one.
