Some truly down home, wholesome food can be found on the back roads of South Carolina. Big cities in the Palmetto State may have more restaurant offerings but in a small town, the flavorful experience extends well beyond the food on your plate.

Home to approximately 350 people, Patrick hosts an annual Pine Straw Festival each spring to celebrate the many long leaf pines that line the landscape.
