Powder hounds come from all over the world to experience Utah’s ski resorts. They’re some of the best in the world, and they’re right in our own backyard. Check out what makes them so great:
Utah’s snowstorms often create the perfect conditions for powder skiing. Frequent storms with light, powdery snow make it possible for skiers to float on top of the heavier layers of snow beneath.

Another thing that makes our skiing so great is our immediate access to it. From the Salt Lake Valley, you can leave your driveway on a powder day and be unloading your skis at one of the resorts on the Wasatch Front in less than a hour.
