The Polar Express might be fictional, but something about trains makes us long for the holiday season nonetheless. At the Houston Museum of Natural Science, you can experience the nostalgic enchantment of both Christmastime and locomotives with the Trains Over Texas exhibit. It’s the largest model train display of its kind in the state, promising to leave your inner child in wide-eyed wonderment.
A holiday tradition, the Trains Over Texas model railroad has chugged its way back to the Houston Museum of Natural Science. It’s the largest O-scale model railroad in Texas, at roughly the size of a tennis court.
