Begin your journey in Shelburne and head south on Vermont Route 7. Before reaching the city of Vergennes, take a righthand turn onto Route 22A.

This mini road trip through Addison County is around an hour in duration, but there are plenty of opportunities to extend the drive for those inclined.

Keep cruising along Vermont Route 22A past Shoreham and Orwell, two delightful and quaint Vermont towns, to Fair Haven. From there, Route 22A straddles the Vermont-New York line. The road trip ends where you decide. You can easily traverse over to Rutland and then take Route 7 further south, or you can stay on Route 22A.
