The summer is here and that means more free time to hit the trails and go swimming. You could head to one of the state’s beautiful beaches or lakes, but we like heading just off-the-beaten-path. Take a trip to this beautiful swimming hole in New Hampshire for a full day of fun with friends. It’s hiding in the woods, but that doesn’t mean you won’t find a few friends who are willing to take the trip.

Horse Shoe Falls is located near Nashua in Wilton.

There are tons of things to love about it, but perhaps our favorite is how easy it is to spend an entire day here.

At 12 feet, it’s one of the deepest in the state.

Which means that jumping into the water from the 15 foot rocks that tower above the lagoon is a must!

If you visit in the middle of the day, you’re likely to find other people here.

But for a world of splashing that’s all your own be sure to show up early. We recommend as early as 10 a.m.
