Today’s focus is a wonderful little stand right at the side of the road and we think you’ll love it.

Welcome to Beans and Greens Farm in Gilford. Not only does it have one of our favorite farm names ever, this place offers everything you need in the way of fresh produce, baked goodies and, most importantly, fun.

Founded by Andy and Martina Howe, this special farm got its start operating out of a pick-up truck. Today, more than 30 years later, it’s one of the best places to go for fresh goods. And the just-off-the-road location makes it very convenient.

It’s set up a lot like a grocery store, which makes shopping easy.

They offer a wide variety. of fresh produce like fruits and veggies. But you can’t leave without one of their fresh-baked pastries, pies or cookies.

While this is a great place to shop, it’s also a fabulous day-trip. In the autumn you’ll find a hay maze, lots of pumpkins and all those fall vibes you’ve come to expect here in New Hampshire.
