Don’t you love it when you discover a fantastic restaurant in a place you didn’t dream possible? That’s exactly what folks discover approximately four miles south of Berkeley Springs on Valley Road (U.S. Route 522).

The business is called Tony’s Butcher Block, and while it does have some of the most delicious fresh (raw) meats in these parts, it also has a deli and a wood-fired brick oven.

Okay, maybe you can’t get those steaks you just bought cooked while you wait, but the deli in this butcher shop can prepare a flavorful Steak Gorgonzola. Yum!

The beef at Tony’s comes from top farms in Virginia and Pennsylvania, the poultry is Amish raised with no hormones, antibiotics, or growth stimulants, and the seafood ships in twice per week from Virginia and Baltimore. If you want the best fresh meat, poultry, and seafood around, this is the place to find it!
