There’s a lot to love about New Orleans’ City Park, that’s for sure. The 1,300-acre park is chock-full of incredible attractions that could take days to fully explore, and the botanical gardens should move to the top of your bucket list. Luckily, there’s always something blooming within these gardens, and now is the perfect time to set out on an adventure and check it out.
Sprawling over 10 acres, City Park’s Botanical Gardens are a picture-perfect way to spend the day.

Originally known as “The Rose Garden,” the gardens have been enchanting both locals and tourists since it opened in the 1930s.

As you stroll through the gardens, you’ll be met with marvelous, lush greenery just about everywhere you look. Be sure to bring your camera; you’ll want to snap some photos, for sure!

Admission is $10 per person for adults and $5 for kids ages 3-12.
