The Sweet Trail near Durham offers one of the most peaceful ways to enjoy the New Hampshire outdoors.

The out-and-back trail is a full 8 miles, but to take in the beauty it’s not necessary to take the entire route. Simply go as far as you’d like and turn back. There’s so much to take in that you certainly won’t miss anything.
