The natural beauty of the Bluegrass State is undeniable and one of the most memorable ways to experience it is to visit the best waterfalls in Kentucky. Chris Sanfino Yahoo Falls is near the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area in Whitley City. There is a nice little hike to get to the falls, 4 miles out and back, but it is well worth the efforts. Yahoo Falls is the tallest waterfall in Kentucky at over 100 feet, but keep in mind that it can be reduced to a very low flow in the dryer/hotter months. Olefatkevin This falls is located right off Anglin Falls Road near Berea. This whimsical falls is in the John B Stephenson Memorial Forest and State Nature Preserve. OlefatKevin If you don’t want to do much hiking, this is a great waterfall to visit. Broke Leg Falls is best after rainfall, but keep in mind it can get very muddy and slick. The area itself is quite peaceful, though a tornado damaged some of the woodlands in 2012. Find out more about this trail on its website.
