The diner first opened in 1927, housed inside a Pollard car manufactured in Lowell, Massachusetts. In fact, the Palace is one of only two remaining Pollard cars in America.

So what can you expect when you visit the Palace Diner? To start with, you’ll want to think small. The restaurant only accommodates 15 seats. Thankfully, though, unlike the space, the portions are anything but modest!

If it’s breakfast you love, then the Palace won’t disappoint. Some of the most popular menu items include pancakes, banana bread, omelets, French toast, and a little something special known as the Lumberjack Breakfast.

Of course, breakfast isn’t the only thing on the menu. Order up something sweet, like this stack of homemade chocolate chip cookies, or try one of the made-to-order sandwiches if you visit during lunch.
