The trail begins at the Santa Fe Ski Area parking lot. You’ll want to keep an eye out for the Windsor Trail sign (there actually isn’t a Nambe Trail sign until later).

Hikers have noted that it takes approximately five hours to complete this rather strenuous out-and-back trail. Be sure to pack plenty of water, food, and layers, as the weather can change rather drastically in the mountains.
