Step back in time with a visit to the Grand Village of the Natchez! Spanning more than 100 acres, the incredible site is brimming with history, which comes in the form of Native American mounds, a Natchez Indian house, museum, and more. Take a look:

Brimming with history, the 128-acre site features three prehistoric Native American mounds, a reconstructed Natchez Indian house, nature trail, museum, and gift shop.

Start your tour of the village at the museum, where you’ll find all sorts of exhibits and artifacts. You’ll also have the opportunity to watch a short video about the Natchez tribe.

The grounds also include three prehistoric mounds, two of which have been excavated and rebuilt to their original shapes and sizes. The third mound, the Abandoned Mound, has only been partially excavated.
