Once again, South Carolina proves it is absolutely the best place to be on earth. So far, 2020 has inspired us all with a resounding resilience allowing us to successfully reclaim some normalcy in our daily lives – even though our normal may look a bit different moving forward. On that note, a great big high-five goes out to the folks at the South Carolina State Fair who’ve found a way for us all to enjoy some of the fair this year while also remaining safe from the looming pandemic.
This year’s fair will be a little shorter and won’t have all the bells and whistles from previous years.

You’ll get them at this year’s drive-thru food fair, along with Corn Dogs, Turkey Legs, a Sausage Sandwich, Funnels Cakes, Cotton Candy, Candy Apples, and let’s not forget Caramel Corn.
The 2020 Drive-Thru South Carolina State Fair takes place later this month from October 20-24, 2020.

Here’s a short rundown on how it works: Everything happens with you inside your own vehicle. Once in the queue, you’ll see there are six food lines.
South Carolina State Fair For a smooth traffic flow, a member of the staff will direct you to a line. All lines have the same food and each line has seven food trucks. Someone from each truck will visit your car for your order. (A mask here would be appropriate for all visitors.) You can pay with cash or credit. Once you receive your order, you’ll follow the exit signs which will lead you out of Gate 10 onto Bluff Road.
