While most of us are gearing up to enjoy fall, others are already looking ahead to the winter months here in Detroit. Sure, it might be a bit early to start thinking about wintertime weather – but if 2020 has taught us anything, it’s that preparation can make all the difference. If the folks at the Farmers’ Almanac are to be believed, Motor City residents should prepare to pull their coats out of storage.

The Farmers’ Almanac has long provided readers with long-range weather forecasts and details about probable conditions for upcoming seasons. This year is no exception.

While exact temperature predictions can’t be confirmed, the Almanac foresees temperatures ranging from average to below average throughout the area, so get ready to bundle up.
