Sure, there are a lot of flea markets in Mississippi, but none can compete with the Canton Flea Market. The biannual event is now nationally famous, attracting thousands of visitors a year. Held every May and October, the epic flea market is fast approaching, and you definitely don’t want to miss it.
The giant flea market is located at 3332 N. Liberty Street in Canton. It is held twice a year on the second Thursday of May and October, from 8 am – 5 pm.

It began in 1965 as an art show, with local artists displaying their work on the iron fence that surrounded the Madison County Courthouse in Canton.

Today, just as all those years ago, the flea market is held on the lawn of the historic courthouse.
