The fall foliage has already reached its peak in several areas throughout the state. However, that doesn’t mean you’ve missed your chance for some prime leaf-peeping. Thanks to drone footage captured by SpagnoloPhoto, you can experience the amazing autumn vistas from atop Timm’s Hill, the highest natural point in Wisconsin.

When it comes to viewing fall foliage in Wisconsin, you won’t find a better vantage point than Timm’s Hill in Ogema.

Standing at 1,951.5 feet, Timm’s Hill is the highest natural point in Wisconsin – and the vistas are exactly as impressive as you’d expect.

And if 1,951.5 feet isn’t high enough for you, don’t worry. There’s a public lookout tower atop the hill, which offers 360-degree unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape.

The expansive vistas are stunning year-round, but there’s no denying that they’re especially spectacular in autumn.

Easily accessible, Timm’s Falls is located within a county park of the same name. What’s more, there are two trails that lead straight to the top of Timm’s Hill.

In addition to the lengthy 10-mile Timm’s Hill Trail, there’s a shorter 0.4-mile trail, which is known as the Green Trail.

The foliage at Timm’s Hill County Park, as well as the rest of Price County, typically peaks around the end of September, with good color remaining for several days or weeks.

It seems Mother Nature is right on track, as the foliage surrounding Timm’s Hill has been officially deemed “past peak” by Travel Wisconsin’s Fall Color Report.

And just like in years past, the seasonal showcase was absolutely spectacular! Luckily, we have SpagnoloPhoto’s footage, as well as lots of photos, to hold us over until next year.
