Some sites from the past are perfectly preserved, while others have fallen into complete disarray. Sandor’s Ranch Park sadly falls into the latter category. Abandoned for several years now, the once-beloved attraction is slowly fading away. Though many of the park’s features are still standing, they’re in dilapidated states and may soon be gone forever. Luckily, we came across this footage, which will give you a glimpse of the long-forgotten park.

Hiding in the woods just off Highway 63 in the tiny village of Mason, you’ll find the remains of Sandor’s Ranch Park.

During its heyday, the park featured a walking trail that was lined with wood carvings, artifacts, and displays.

The creation of Ed Sandor, the one-of-a-kind site started off as a farm and then evolved into a campground before being transformed into Sandor’s Ranch Park.

A longtime favorite, the park opened in the early 1960s.

Prone to flooding, the park was closed and abandoned around 2015.
