Here in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, we aren’t only proud of our bodies of water. We’re also proud of the many small towns that make our state great. Today, we’d like to introduce a wonderful little town in the southeastern corner of the state. Rushford, Minnesota, may be tiny, but it is full of beautiful scenery and fun attractions. Rushford, Minnesota, is a tiny town in the southwestern corner of the state. It’s about 25 miles north of the Iowa border. The population of this tiny town is about 1,700 people.

Though Rushford is small, it is full of immense beauty. The town is in southeastern Minnesota’s bluff country. A tall bluff looms over the own. No matter when you visit, it’s an impressive sight. But covered in the green of summer, it looks like nothing else in Minnesota.

You can even go to the top of the bluff to see the town from above. Head to Maglesson Bluff Park to see this gorgeous, picturesque sight for yourself!

Downtown Rushford is exactly what you might expect from a town like this one. It’s full of sleepy streets lined with charming buildings, some historic. This is a lovely place to take a stroll.
