Suspension Bridge Hike In Ohio Hemlock Bridge Trail

There’s nothing like a hike in Ohio nature to refresh your body and revive your mind. The Hemlock Bridge Trail at Hocking Hills State Park features a cave, waterfall and suspension bridge. It’s an eventful hike that belongs at the top of your outdoor bucket list.

The Hemlock Bridge Trail is a 1-mile trek on its own, but it also leads to Whispering Cave, which adds about another half mile to the journey.

The trail features enchanting hemlock groves and towering sandstone cliffs that Hocking Hills explorers know and love.

After significant rainfall, water flows beneath the bridge, making your journey across quite scenic.

At the end of the trail, you’ll arrive at Whispering Cave, a 300 ft.-wide cavern that features a 105-ft. waterfall after significant rainfall.
