This holiday season, Newport has decided to join this trend and illuminate the Purple People Bridge for Winter Nights, River Lights in Kentucky. Now through the middle of January, you can stroll across the Ohio River and witness a stunning light show and views of both Northern Kentucky and downtown Cincinnati.

Newport on the Levee is always a festive place to visit during the holidays and this year is no exception.

In addition to some of the previous attractions that are back this year, they’ve added a new feature that’s perfect for an outdoor stroll.

The Purple People Bridge is a pedestrian bridge that connects Newport to downtown Cincinnati.
