Enjoy an old-fashioned celebration at the Back When Holiday Extravaganza in Vandergrift, set for December 4-6, 2020. The family-friendly event will feature a full menu of activities.

It won’t take long for you to get into the holiday spirit as you stroll through town, as Christmas carols ring out in the winter air. You might even get the urge to sing along – go for it.

Be sure to bring your camera along, because you’ll have plenty of picture-perfect moments – from meeting Santa Claus to snapping photos of the town’s holiday decorations.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, event organizers will implement a number of safety precautions. All guests will be asked to wear face masks. If you forget yours, you can buy one from the participating vendors.

Social distancing is encouraged, and you’ll see quite a few stations where you can wash your hands with sanitizer. The vast majority of activities, including the vendors, will be outside.

The kiddos can bring their letters to Santa and drop them off in a special mailbox. Gather around for a nostalgic reading of “’Twas the Night Before Christmas,” and find your Christmas tree at the tree lot.
