First and foremost, the natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful. You can visit any time of the year, though many especially love the fall. The cabin is in the Spring Beauty Northern Hardwoods SNA, a maple tree forest that has beautiful changing leaves in the fall.

The cabin has a wraparound porch that will bring you that much closer to the trees. You’ll love sitting out there with a cup of coffee and a book.

Inside, you’ll find a simple cabin with just about everything you need to enjoy your stay. The cabin is furnished with chairs, a bed, and a small table.

There’s a simple kitchen area with a gas cooktop. There is no running water or electricity, so you will need to bring your own supplies. Like any Airbnb, you’ll also have to bring your own food and drink.

The bed is simple but comfortable. Be aware that you’ll need to bring your own blankets and pillows. This stay is a lot like camping, though much more comfortable than staying in a tent.

If it gets too cool, use the wood-burning stove to heat things up. If it gets too hot, open the windows and let in a breeze!

Speaking of windows, two walls of the cabin are lined with floor-to-ceiling windows. You’ll have absolutely gorgeous views of the forest.

There are a few other parts of this stay to be aware of. First, there is no running water. That means the bathroom is an outhouse that is detached from the main cabin.

Another detached building is a sauna! All you need to do is heat the coals, add water, and enjoy!
