Housed inside an authentic Victorian mansion, the Lumber Baron Inn was initially built in 1890 as a single-family home and also served as low-income housing before being restored to its current glory in 1991.

It was during those tumultuous low-income-housing years when tragedy struck, as the home - which primarily consisted of drug dealers, derelicts, and runaways - became the scene of a grizzly crime when two teenagers were tortured and killed.

To this day, the crime has gone unsolved, but one thing is for sure: things can get a little weird at the Lumber Baron Inn, which was recently named one of the 8 Most Haunted Airbnbs in the USA by TimeOut.
