Sharp Top Trail is a challenging hike located near Bedford. It will take you to fantastic mountain views in exchange for a little hard work.

Head to the Blue Ridge Parkway to try this hike out. It’s pretty short at just 2.6 miles long, but the trail will test your hiking abilities.

The trail will take you up the mountain via a steep, rocky path. Expect uneven terrain and a pretty steady ascent as you climb 1,227 feet.

You’ll also need to be able to navigate a few stone staircases and have decent stamina, as there aren’t many level spots to pause and catch your breath.
