They offer two different types of trips, including a private Victorian carriage that’s great for a couple. These rides are a fun way to celebrate something special or to just take some time to appreciate the beauty of New Hampshire.

They also offer a sleigh ride that’s great for two to four people. Both will take visitors through the 70-acre wooded area surrounding the farm. You’ll be surprised that you’re just a short two miles from downtown North Conway.

Each ride makes its way through nearby meadows and forests with Maple and evergreen trees. And it includes some of the best views of the Saco River, Mt. Cranmore, Mt. Kearsarge, Cathedral, and White Horse Ledges.

We especially love how caring the staff here is. They’ll allow visitors to really get to know the horses, making this a great activity for kids or adults who can be a bit nervous around larger animals.

Farm by The River offers a variety of things to experience including an overnight stay at their bed and breakfast, horseback riding, and more. You can also take advantage of the “Romance Special” which includes a private Victorian Sleigh or Carriage Ride with champagne, chocolates, and blankets.
