Red Rock Lavender is a 35,000-plant farm whose billowy pastel blooms and intoxicating smells enchant all who visit. There’s also an on-site winery and gift shop where visitors can purchase lavender-scented bath and body products, and even actual plants to start a garden with!

In 1998, the farm was purchased with every intention to be used for growing organic fruits and vegetables. Lavender was planted strictly as landscaping, however, the herb’s undeniable beauty soon launched it into the spotlight.

One small crop quickly blossomed into a field of more than 35,000. Red Rock Lavender was the first farm of its kind in Arizona and is now by far the largest.

Over time, the business has expanded to include a yearly festival and farm store. Over eight different varieties of lavender are cultivated, harvested by hand each summer, and sold to the public.

Lavender grown at higher elevations effuse more fragrance than any other altitude, so the White Mountains couldn’t be a more ideal location. Simply walking up and down the rows is enough for the intoxicating smell to fill your nostrils.
