What began with a group of friends driving on a frozen pond above Central City c. 1965 continued to progress and evolve into the formation of Our Gang 4 Wheelers in 1977, with an inaugural race taking place at Twin Lakes.

Since the group’s inception, the location has changed to Georgetown Lake, but the group’s goal remains: to provide a fun and safe way to enjoy your personal 4x4 during the winter.

Joining Our Gang Ice Racing is easy, as it requires a 4WD or AWD vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and a small registration fee.

In addition to competitive racing, Our Gang also offers non-competitive classes for all levels of drivers, as well as a Sunday Fun Day Track for those who want to experience the thrill in a no-pressure environment.

Don’t feel like driving yourself but want to check out the action? Spectators are welcome to watch the races from the side of the lake for free!
