Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree is a time-honored tradition, and it’s been a beloved part of the holiday season since 1962. The community choir hasn’t missed a single year of performing since then, and it’s not about to start now! Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree got its start back in 1962, in a high school auditorium, with a $500 budget. Over the years, it’s grown into a fabulous, two-hour production that includes more than 350 singers, dancers, and musicians.

Officials decided that it was just too risky to present the show to an audience this year. Undeterred, organizers decided to offer a Streaming Spectacular instead!
Performances run from December 15th through January 1st, and viewers will still enjoy the same wonderful show and incredible talent as they do when they see it in person. The traditional living nativity is still part of the event…
