Run away from civilization and hide away at Polihale State Park. With miles of white sand beaches, stunning cliffs rising up from the ocean, and a view that stretches on into the horizon forever, this is a wonderful place to get away from it all. Put this on the top of your list for places to go when you’re on Kauai.

On the west end of Kauai is a remote beach that can only be accessed by a long, unmaintained dirt sugarcane road.

But once you arrive at this remote beach you’ll forget how long it may have taken you to arrive.
