Little Rock is home to a farm where visitors can pick out and cut down their own Christmas tree. Since 1982, families have been visiting from all over the state of Arkansas and creating holiday memories at Motley’s Tree Farm.
Several varieties of pine trees are grown on the farm including Fraser Fir (my personal favorite), Carolina Sapphire, and Leyland Cypress. Visitors are sure to find the perfect Christmas tree to take home.

As a visitor, you will be taken on a free wagon ride to the field to pick out your Christmas tree. You have the option to cut it down yourself or they will do it for you.
Motley’s Tree Farm/Facebook If you prefer to cut down a tree yourself, Motley’s will provide you with a saw. When you are ready, you and your tree will enjoy a nice wagon ride back to the parking lot where employees will shake, bale, and load the tree into or onto your vehicle. What great service!
Instead of cutting down a tree, you may choose to take home a “Living Christmas Tree” which comes potted in a container and can be planted in your yard after the holidays.

If you get hungry, don’t worry. Motley’s has a café that sells hot dogs and sandwiches and a fudge kitchen that offers 20 flavors of homemade fudge.
