If you’re looking for an unbelievable place to take your family for a meal, look no further than the small upper delta town of Walnut Ridge. What’s so incredible about this restaurant, you ask? Well, part of it is housed in a renovated Boeing 737. That’s right. You can eat on an aircraft without ever leaving the ground – and the food you’ll get isn’t standard airline issue either. Both the menu and the buffet are full of delicious home-style dishes that would make your grandmother proud.
Please note, The Parachute Inn is no longer in business.
No need to worry about your fear of flying. This aircraft isn’t going anywhere.

Don’t concern yourself about leg room either; the seats of the plane have been rearranged to accommodate the tables.

Take a peek at the cockpit while you’re there too. It may not be in working condition, but it’s still cool to look at.

The restaurant is located at the Walnut Ridge Regional Airport, which is where the Beatles landed in 1964. That stopover has resulted in a statue and a Beatles-themed festival.

To complete your trip to Walnut Ridge, go and see the nearby Wings of Honor Museum. You’ll find more retired aircraft there, this time of the World War II variety.
