There’s nothing like a drive-in movie with the family to create lasting memories. This summer, drive-in theaters are popping up in Walmart Supercenters across the nation, including select stores in Ohio. Bring your own snacks, put the kids in their pajamas and get ready for an unforgettable (and socially distant) family outing. Here’s what you need to know.

This year, say goodbye to summer and hello to fall with a drive-in movie at your local Walmart. Free movies will play at select stores from August - October.

In Ohio, movies will play at the Amelia store on September 29 and 30. They will also play at the Akron Walmart on October 2 and October 3.

Walmart Supercenter/Google Parking spaces will be socially distanced and visitors are required to wear a mask when outside their vehicle.

Movies start at 7:30 p.m. each night and gates open at 6 p.m. Everything from nostalgic classics to newer releases are scheduled to play.
