There’s no better way to clear your head than by heading outside. Whether it’s a walk down the street, some time sitting in the park or even something that requires a little more exertion, there’s no better place to enjoy some time outdoors than in New Hampshire. But, even if you feel you’ve been spending too much time in the Granite State there are ways of getting a broader world view. Even if it’s just a literal view of a neighboring state!

You’ll start your adventure by parking at the turn around where Cat Hole Road’s pavement ends. There’s private property here, so be sure not to block the driveway. From here you’ll pass the gate and hike for about one mile on the trail.

While not terribly complicated, the trail does have a fairly large elevation gain. But that’s because you’re about to have an absolutely incredible view.

The trail is accessible year-round and some people even prefer it in the winter when the bare trees allow for even more impressive views.
