If you prefer to do your swimming in a pool, you probably haven’t had the best summer this year. But if you’re one of the many Washingtonians who loves to find a good old-fashioned natural swimming hole, you’re in luck, because we have plenty. And while it’s a bold claim to suggest you might be able to take a solo swim anywhere in this state, at Moulton Falls, your odds are actually pretty good.
Moulton Falls is located in Southwest Washington, not far from the city of Vancouver.

To reach the waterfall and swimming hole, you’ll have to earn that cool swim with a 5-mile out-and-back hike.

Despite this hiking trail being a bit lengthy for beginners, it’s not an overly challenging trek.
