Welcome to Merlin Olsen Central Park! This pretty park was built in the late 1800s and was one of Logan’s first city parks.
Brannon Boman/Google The park was renamed after Merlin Olsen in 1983. He was a famous football player who was born right here in Logan, and he attended Utah State University prior to his career as an NFL player with the Los Angeles Rams.
This pretty park covers nine acres, and it’s shady and cool on a hot summer day.
