If you visit the sprawling sanctuary, you’ll have the opportunity to meet such residents as Sassy and Just Johnny (horses), Jack and Diane (pigs), and Maggie and Sadie (goats).

West Place Animal Sanctuary welcomes visitors to tour its grounds and to meet the animals on select Saturdays throughout the year. It will also be hosting an open house on August 24, 2020.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., you can join a tour, where you’ll get insight into the sanctuary and meet its many residents. (Tours depart at the top of each hour).

Even if you can’t make it to one of the tours or to the open house, you can still help out. The sanctuary offers a long list of ways to contribute, including by sponsoring an animal.
