No holiday itinerary is complete without the Canton Christmas Festival! The annual celebration is a family favorite – and it’s not hard to see why. Absolutely magical, the festive event includes appearances by Santa and Mrs. Clause, rides, thousands of sparkling lights, and lots more. It’s truly like a Hallmark movie brought to life, and you don’t want to miss it. Take a look:
Located about 30 miles north of Jackson, Canton is a small town that’s big on charm…and fun. It’s most known for its film museum, bi-annual flea market, and Christmas celebration.

Luckily, the festival will still be held this year, despite the pandemic. Slated to be as magical as ever, this year’s fest will feature a few changes, including some new attractions.

First things first, this year’s fest is scheduled for November 27 - 29 and December 4 - 23, 2020. And as usual, it will take place in the city’s courthouse square and surrounding area.

During the Yuletide celebration, Canton is set aglow with thousands of twinkling lights, living up to its nickname, “City of Lights.”

Throughout the years, Canton has also earned another nickname, “Mississippi’s Most Festive Christmas Town”, and that it is!
