Let’s have some fun, PA! A lot of festivals, fairs, and other annual events we’ve come to know and love have been forced to cancel this year because of the pandemic. The show will go on, however, for Balloonfest 2020 in Pennsylvania. Just expect a few changes that will be implemented to ensure everyone’s safety.
Balloonfest at Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville is set to take flight on September 12-13, 2020. Stop by Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Wake up bright and early on Saturday, September 12, for the balloon launch as hot air balloons take to the sky over Lycoming County. The launch is set for 5:45 a.m. to 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.

Unfortunately, because of the inability to socially distance on a hot air balloon, all tethered rides are canceled this year.

Saturday’s schedule also features a BMX bike show, an air show, ATV races, and a heavy equipment rodeo.

Randy the Magician will also be on hand both days. Saturday evening caps off with a breathtaking laser show.

All guests will be required to follow CDC guidelines, including wearing a mask or a face shield and maintaining a social distance of six feet. Since there will be limited seating, you are permitted to bring your own chairs.

Tickets cost $9 per person and $5 for kids six to 12. Admission is free for kids five and younger. If you purchase tickets online in advance, you’ll pay just $6 for adults or $10 for a two-day pass. Kids advanced tickets are $4 for one day or $6 for two days. Order tickets.
