If you like the idea of staying in a covered wagon, pile the whole family in the car, and head over to Delaware Water Gap/Pocono Mountains KOA Holiday Campground, in East Stroudsburg. Where can I camp on the beach in Pennsylvania? You’ve got one spot where you can camp on the beach in Pennsylvania, and that’s Sara’s Campground in Erie. Camping is first come first served, and you’ll have plenty of space to spread out on the beautiful, soft sand that leads into Lake Erie. You don’t even have to leave the campground if you don’t want to. Instead, swim in the lake; make a sandcastle, or play an impromptu game of beach volleyball.
