Few attractions in Virginia are more striking than Natural Bridge. Just a short drive from Lexington and tucked away in a town by the same name, Natural Bridge is a 215-foot-tall formation carved out over time by Cedar Creek.

Visit the state park and you’ll have the opportunity to explore both the bridge and the impressive surrounding landscape. The park, which was officially incorporated in 2016, includes seven miles of hiking trails.

Among the most popular is Lace Falls via Cedar Creek Trail. Rated as easy on AllTrails, this two-mile hike begins with a gentle walk down Cascade Creek and ends at Lace Falls.
