One such place, La Carafe in Texas, is a Houston bar that dates back to the 1800s. Houston’s oldest continuously-operating establishment, this historic building dates all the way back to 1860. It’s been everything from bakeries to drugstores until La Carafe was opened nearly 50 years ago.
