There’s no denying that the summer of 2020 has been a bit different than those of the past. During the warm months in Maine, we’ve grown accustomed to seeing friends and family wherever and whenever we choose. Sometimes that’s at home, but mostly we love going to the beach, going for walks, and generally just appreciating everything Vacationland offers. A huge part of that is due to the summer fairs and carnivals that bring communities together for a few days of celebrating just about anything. Since most of those were put on hold, we’ve also missed out on the best part…the food! Until now.

The Windsor Fair has been an anticipated event since 1888. And with that much time organizers and attendees have pretty much perfected the art of fair creation!

Every year rides and amusements show up and people come from all over to have fun.

But, of course, this year things have been different and fairs all over the state have been canceled or made virtual. And while that’s a great concept, there’s one thing you just can’t replicate online. Fair food!

That’s why we’re excited that Kevin’s Fair Food cart will be planted at the Windsor Fairgrounds this September to offer people the things they might miss the most.

The cart, which is brightly colored and exactly what you might expect, offers everything you can imagine at a carnival. From sausages to drinks to fries, there’s plenty to load up on.

But be warned: this is not for the faint of heart! You’ll want to get everything they offer so be sure to come hungry to make up for a summer of not having things like deep fried Oreos.

The cart will be on the fairgrounds from September 3rd through the 8th from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. or 7 p.m. depending on the day.
