Have you ever wanted to walk with the dinosaurs? You can do just that very soon right here in Texas — well, almost. Jurassic Quest is a drive-thru exhibit showcasing some of the most ferocious prehistoric behemoths to ever live, and it’s coming to the Lone Star State. Here are all the details:
Lovers of prehistory, rejoice: dinosaurs are taking over Texas in the near future! Jurassic Quest, America’s largest and most realistic dinosaur event, will visit San Antonio and Midland – although exact dates have yet to announced.

The original Jurassic Quest experience includes rides, a fossil dig, and other themed attractions; however, it has been modified into a drive-thru-only event. Rest assured you’ll have a great time nevertheless, with over 80 life-size dinos just outside your windows.

Pterodactyls let out their ancient caws, and 24-foot tall T-Rexes snap their hungry jaws in your direction. From the very smallest to the most enormous dinos in the animal kingdom, you’ll get up close and personal with them all.

Tickets for Jurassic Quest are per car, not per person, and the cost is $49 each. If your vehicle seats between nine and 15 people, the price is raised to $80 – in these cases, the car must be under 10’ tall and 25’ long.

Several add-on toy bundles are available to add yet another layer of realism. Arts and crafts to enjoy at home – plus several additional surprises – promise to leave the kiddos giddy with excitement. Rates for the bundles are $15-50.
