It’s come time to face the facts: most people who visit Arkansas talk about how they love Eureka Springs, Little Rock, Fayetteville, or Hot Springs. They’re not wrong. All of those cities are perfectly lovely, of course. We just love them to pieces. There are also entire regions that get a lot of praise. The Ozarks and the Ouachitas, for example. But Arkansas is more than mountains and popular cities. Folks tend to overlook one region in particular more than any other, and that criminally underrated region is the Delta. Unfortunately, that means the cities of the Delta don’t always get the praise they deserve. One such charming city in the upper Delta region is called Jonesboro, and it’s a true gem of the Natural State.
